Sally's Bakes

Sally's Bakes is a local bakery in Bury, Manchester, specializing in vegan cakes and pies. The business sells products at local food shops throughout the Greater Manchester area, as well as delivering to customers at their homes.

My Solution

I created a simple website that clearly explains what Sally offers and makes it easy for customers to get in touch. The site includes key information about her products, locations, and how to place orders.

Sally needed a website she could manage herself, so I implemented a Git-based web workflow that allows her to update her menu and showcase new products without technical assistance. The site structure prioritises clarity and usability, making it straightforward for customers to find what they need.

Ongoing Support

As a website customer Sally receives free access to my Patreon marketing club for business promotion advice. I provide occasional technical help, though her Git-based workflow is largely self-sufficient. We optimised the site for local search terms and it's already ranking pretty well on Google.

Results

The site gives Sally a professional online presence where customers can easily find product information and place orders. It connects all her social media profiles while remaining simple enough for her to maintain herself, allowing her to focus primarily on her baking business.
