Privacy
This page explains what Chobble does with your data. If anything here is unclear, email me and I'll fix it.
When you visit this website
- The site uses GoatCounter, a privacy-respecting analytics tool I self-host. It records anonymous page views and referrers. It does not use cookies, track you across sites, or build a profile of you.
- There are no third-party advertising trackers and no Google Analytics.
- The contact form sends your message to me via Formspark and checks for spam via Botpoison. I only use the email address and name you provide to reply to you.
When you hire me
- I'll keep a record of your name, email address, and any project details you send me, in order to do the work we've agreed.
- For paid work, payment is taken either through Stripe or via bank transfer to my Monzo Business account. When you pay through Stripe, Stripe handles your card details, not me.
- I won't give your details to anyone else, or email you about anything you haven't asked me to.
Your rights
- You can ask me at any time what data I hold about you, and I'll tell you.
- You can ask me to delete it, and I will (unless I legally have to keep it, e.g. for tax records).
- You can complain to the ICO if you think I've mishandled your data.
